Hunter Baseball Summer Development Camp 2026

This camp is about learning how to train with purpose, compete with adrenaline, play with heart, and build the habits that show up on the bigger stage. It’s about becoming stronger physically, sharper mentally, and more confident in big moments.

Players will be coached by Mariel Checo, Head Coach of Hunter College High School Baseball — former New York Yankees draft pick, former professional pitcher who reached 103 MPH, and a NYC PSAL baseball legend who knows what it takes to compete at the highest level.

Coach Checo brings years of experience on and off the field, with a focus on building players the right way: hard work, discipline, confidence, smart baseball, toughness, and a winning mindset. His goal is to help develop future champions by teaching players how to prepare, compete, and carry themselves like serious ballplayers.
