About Checo Baseball Power

Mariel Checo is a former New York Yankee and Kansas City Royals minor league pitcher. CHECO was originally drafted by the Yankees in the 41 round of the 2009 class, out of Norman Thomas High school in NYC. Checo played 6 seasons in the minors and 5 seasons in independent baseball, as well as Dominican Winter League and Nicaragua winter league. Last team CHECO played was the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League where he was a champion once again.  The Atlantic League is the highest level of baseball aside MLB.

Checo being a champions 4 times in his baseball career including the winning game at yankees stadium, the PSAL 2009 championship series played at the new yankees stadium when it open it’s door. Checo was the winning pitcher of the 2011 Gulf coast league championship series. Checo was the Championship series MVP, George Washington high school spring tournament MVP, Baseball America first team selection 2009 rankings and All City player of the year in NYC public high school league. Checo was considered a phenomenon in his high school days , poisoning a devastating 94-97mph fastball, 83-87mph slider and power change up 88mph, positioning himself as one of the strongest pitching arm in the history of PSAL NYC baseball. His arsenal gained him recognition around the USA.  Checo high dedication and hard work earn him multiple recognitions and awards. Checo top velocity touch 101MPH.  His average velocity was 97mph. He’s a warrior a competitor and a champion.

Checo is now dedicated to coaching.  He’s currently coaching hunter college high school baseball team,  Field Coordinator of Elmjack little league baseball and he has his own baseball Academy CHECOBASEBALLPOWER. Checo being teaching baseball since his first Professional season end back in 2009. That’s mean he have a very strong understanding of the games. Being over a decade around the Pro level of the game will loaded you with a full enciclopedia of knowledges that mean Coach CHECO is the guy to get help from if you intend to take you baseball career to the next level.
